Virtual Launch

I thought I would try a Zoom launch with my new book, "Rona Rona Please go Away, Tiana shares her feelings about the coronavirus" since virtual is the way to go nowadays. Even though there were only a few on the call, I was at least able to open up a Zoom meeting for the very first time. I really believe this is a great way to reach out to an audience you would never have been able to reach. Technology is great! It gives you the opportunity of staying home but making contact with potential fans across the country. You can save yourself travel time and expenses while potentially targeting a wider audience. As an independent author/publisher you have to be creative and spin your money wisely. This is the best way to do just that. Face to face contact continues to be a great way to interact with your fans but if you can use this method, why not. It not only makes it easier for you but for fans who might not have been able to travel as well. Although virtual, it can be intimate.
Looking forward to experimenting with other virtual calls. I must admit though that it might be a challenge for me to open myself up to a wider audience. Something I have to work on.
